Position General Responsibilities:

Responsible for servicing early delinquent loans for secondary market residential real estate mortgage loans for all Stockman Bank locations. This position is part of the loss mitigation and delinquency servicing team under the direction of the Mortgage Servicing Loss Mitigation & Foreclosure Supervisor. There will be extensive correspondence with customers, investors, guarantors, and personnel at other locations via phone, mail, fax, and e-mail.

Education, Experience and Certification Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

High School diploma or equivalency.

Strong oral and written communication.

Strong organizational skills.

Must be able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.


1. Previous office or real estate loan servicing experience.

2. Working knowledge of spreadsheets and other computer programs.

Position Specific Responsibilities, Duties and Competencies

1. Operational Functions:

Collections of non-performing delinquent loans through verbal and written communication.

Weekly collection calls. Makes calls on delinquent loans 17-45 days past due.

Property Inspections

Send monthly collection letters - 40 Day Letters, 45 Day Letters, all other letters as needed.

Onboarding of new financials and issuing acknowledgement notices.

Filing loss mitigation letters, and other customer correspondence.

Tracking MBOH occupancy waivers.

Assist with property preservation as needed.

Assist Supervisor with all delinquent loans as needed.

Administrative Support:

a. Assist with correspondence mailings, phone and office traffic, and provide secretarial help as needed.

b. Answer phone and may assist customers or take messages, and refer to manager or team member as required.

d. Other duties as assigned.

Sales/Public Relations:

a. Promote the improvement of Stockman Bank through quality customer service, promotion of products, professionalism in conduct and diligent work ethic.

b. Greet all customers pleasantly and make them feel welcome and comfortable.

c. Handle transactions quickly and professionally.

d. Effectively handle customer questions and problems.

Federal Regulations:

Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures that apply to and concern this position's area of responsibility, including general regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and various other Federal and State regulations as they apply.

Constantly works with others, around others, with co-workers in other departments or branches and with customers and the general public in person and via telephone. Constantly works indoors, in confined areas and is exposed to the risk of electrical shock.

Frequently works around noise (moderate level). The employee must have the ability to focus on tasks and customers while hearing machines, conversations of others, music, phones, etc., in a confined area.

Infrequently the employee works alone and also works near moving objects. The employee is also infrequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
